Black Women in Asset Management delivered a 3-part Lunch & Learn Series to the SEO HerCapital cohort.

HerCapital is SEO’s female leadership programme which aims to empower female university students with the tools and network needed to reduce the confidence gap in young women.

Over the course of three weeks in June, fourteen BWAM members volunteered their time and shared insight on their roles, market outlook and careers.

One candidate described the session as follows:

“I found the Female leadership lunch very inspiring in that the panellists reflected on their own personal experiences to give us guidance, particularly about taking the plunge even when apprehensive to take on more responsibility because it will help grow you professionally and as a person which resonated with me and I will definitely take away."
