BWAM Virtual Masterclass: Centering Black Joy in the Workplace
Journey to Nia: Centering Black Joy and Rejecting Anti-Black Racism in the Workplace Anahsa's Journey to Nia' experience supports professionals to explore and confront the ways in which anti-Black racism is embedded within our socialization, organizations, and society. Participants will take a closer look at how anti-Black racism impacts Black women in the workplace, and practice strategies to combat it by centering their joy and agency. Learning Outcomes Identify some historical foundations and present day examples of anti-Black racism in society. Identify how organizations participate in, and replicate anti-Black racism. Practice disrupting anti-Black racism on personal and organizational levels.
