About the Speakers:

Tosin Akinluyi is a Managing Director and the Head of EMEA Macro Research. Tosin also serves on the Firm’s EMEA Operating Committee and the Global Research Operating Committee. Prior to her current role she was the Global COO for Macro Research. She started as an Associate with Morgan Stanley in 2003, initially in the Global Fixed Income Strategy group in NY, transitioned to the NY Commodities Division in 2005 and then, from 2007 in London, led the global Commodities Analysis Team until 2015. Prior to Morgan Stanley she worked in energy-focused strategy and consulting roles at Entergy, Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse Coopers in London. Tosin is Morgan Stanley’s Executive Sponsor for the Race at Work Charter, Co-Sponsor of the African & Caribbean Business Alliance and a Co-Founder and Sponsor of the Schools Outreach/Step In Step Up Program. Tosin is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Business School of Sussex University. Tosin has a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, an MA in Development Economics from Sussex University and an MBA in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School in New York.

Ize Idemudia is the Chief Operating Officer of International Legal and Global Investment Management Legal at Morgan Stanley. She also serves as an advisor on the African & Caribbean Business Alliance and sits on the Legal and Compliance Division Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Ize has spent the last 15 years in legal and compliance roles in banking, previously with Goldman Sachs in New York and London. She is a New York qualified attorney. Throughout her career, Ize has been an advocate for mentoring and sponsorship programmes, championed diversity and inclusion within the Banking industry and sought to increase representation of Black heritage and female talent. Ize is a member of the Advisory Board of Black Women in Asset Management (BWAM).
