Join us to rest, restore, and renew.
On Monday 14th November we invite you to make time for yourself and join our online well-being retreat hosted by Mindwalk Yoga. In this special event, you’ll be introduced to a selection of healing practices to help you unwind, let go and be held in a nourishing space.
With so much going on in the world and our lives, we want to create a space for you to centre your well-being. You don’t need any yoga experience to join this retreat. Newbies and yoga veterans are all welcome.
The retreat begins with gentle movement and soothing breathing by Zakiya to ground your mind and body. Paula will share a nourishing Restorative Yoga practice to ease you into a restful state. Karen will seal the retreat with a meditative Yoga Nidra. Karen is a poet and will share poetry she wrote for the retreat.
The theme for our special retreat is simply to make time for yourself.

About Mindwalk Yoga
Mindwalk Yoga is an accessible online yoga studio led by Black women. They are a UK-based social enterprise organised as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC).
Mindwalk Yoga offers daily community Livestream classes and has an extensive VOD library of well-being practices. Their online studio is open to everyone and hosts specific classes and retreats exclusively for Black women.
Mindwalk Yoga believes yoga should be accessible for all financial situations. They’ve developed an equitable membership model that includes paying it forward or donating to support members who are financially locked out of well-being.
Yoga is proven to support mental health, yet, in the west, yoga is often exclusive, expensive and lacks safe, accessible spaces led by Black women. They have created Mindwalk Yoga as an antidote to this reality.
This event is for BWAM members only. If you are interested in membership, sign up here.
