Journey to Nia: Centering Black Joy and Rejecting Anti-Black Racism in the Workplace

Anahsa's Journey to Nia™ experience supports professionals to explore and confront the ways in which anti-Black racism is embedded within our socialization, organizations, and society. Participants will take a closer look at how anti-Black racism impacts Black women in the workplace, and practice strategies to combat it by centering their joy and agency.

Learning Outcomes

  • Identify some historical foundations and present day examples of anti-Black racism in society.

  • Identify how organizations participate in, and replicate anti-Black racism.

  • Practice disrupting anti-Black racism on personal and organizational levels.
