Dawid Konotey-Ahulu CBE DL

Dawid Konotey-Ahulu is a British Ghanaian entrepreneur, passionate about helping people to discover their true potential. He qualified as a barrister of Lincoln's Inn in 1987 before switching careers to investment banking. In 2006, Dawid co-founded Redington, the UK's leading independent pensions consultancy; he also set up Mallowstreet, an AI-powered platform for the financial services industry; and co-founded The 10,000 Interns Foundation, a charitable foundation that has secured 10,000 internships for undergraduates of Black heritage or with a disability. In 2018, he was named Black British Entrepreneur of the Year. He was on the Prime Minister’s Business Council in 2022/2023 and currently sits on ACOBA, the Advisory Committee for Business Appointments. Using his Spellbound! programme, he teaches prison inmates how to speak with confidence to a roomful of their peers about who they really are and the people they want to be. Dawid is also on the Board of Mission 44 and of Somerset House. He was awarded a CBE in 2023 and is a Deputy Lieutenant of Hertfordshire.
