Ekwutozia Nwabuzor is a seasoned corporate transactional attorney with extensive experience the financial services industry. She advises clients on structuring, developing, and managing a wide range of alternative investment products, including hedge funds, funds of funds, private equity, venture, real estate, liquid alternatives, and separately managed accounts.
Her experience spans the full lifecycle of complex investment management transactions. She advises clients on management company and fund formations, business development, investor relations, restructurings, and ongoing operations for both domestic and offshore private funds. Previously, she served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at a major global investment firm, where she negotiated high-stakes client agreements, launched new investment products, and ensured regulatory compliance. She earned her J.D. from Howard University School of Law, where she was Senior Articles Editor of the Howard Law Journal.
