Stephanie Dorsey
Stephanie Dorsey is Co-founder and CEO of Margins Capital, an investment firm that provides women and BIPOC investors access to an institutional quality portfolio of alternative investments.
Stephanie started her career as a medical malpractice defense attorney. Disenchanted, she left the law and joined the Peace Corps to work in micro-finance with Afroecuadorians.
Stephanie pursued her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and later found a passion for technology and product management. She spent 10 years building consumer banking products at Capital One before becoming the Chief Product Officer at Metric Collective.
When deciding what to do next, Stephanie focused on solving a different financial problem. She founded Margins Capital so that people like her, who have historically been excluded from the alternative investment ecosystem, could have approachable access to private capital markets to help build financial freedom faster. She also hosts the What The Wealthy Do podcast.
